Called a few cab company%26#39;s...they wanted $50 round trip from Lighthouse!

Any good way of getting to Florabama without driving?

Was that price for pickup at LH, drive to FB, then return at a certain time? There are usually taxis hanging around the FB and I would think that it might be cheaper to just take one there and catch another back. It%26#39;s a 10 mile drive, so that does add up in a taxi.

The FloraBama is a dump, anyway. You could walk to the Hangout or Pink Pony and have a better time, IMO.

Yeah, we went to the Hangout several times, and the Pink Pony. Did stop by Flora-Bama in the afternoon, but heard it%26#39;s a lot of fun at night.

We just called a few cab companies and asked what a round trip would cost, and $50 seemed like the going rate, which sounded pretty high!

Yes, enjoyed the Hangout.

Actually ate their twice and had some carry out once. Not that it was fantastic food, we actually had some very good food there, but also some very mediocre food at best.

But the whole experience of the live band and the big play area for the kids, while us adults could enjoy some adult beverages is really nice.

Not to mention it%26#39;s proximity to Lighthouse.

I%26#39;m not really a fan of their food but the atmosphere and the music make it a nice place to ';hangout'; not to mention the adult beverages!

Yea, we usually eat somewhere else before we go to the Hangout and then enjoy some adult beverages there
