trip report 08/30 to 09/06/08

we left for mobile on friday and stayed there two nights got up on sunday and found out there was a mandatory evacuation of fort morgan. so we headed out and went to panama city we stayed there 2 days and had a good time we had a beach front place and watched the big waves of gustav. then we returned to fort morgan where we had a beach house, there was water under the house but nothing we couldnt deal with. while there we ate at tacky jacks great food.we got seafood at fort morgan seafood market one night that was great. ate at shrimp basket one night food good service was so so. went fishing one day and caught 51 spanish mackrel that was awesome one day we went DI enjoyed the sea lab and the fort we ate at pelican%26#39;s pub that was the best place we ate at. very good. so overall with the detour we had a great trip all things considering.was determined not to let gustav ruin our trip and it didn%26#39;t just made a two day detour had a great time
