GS / OB - restaurant seating for 12

There will be 12 of us visiting GS together this summer. We will buy seafood/ steaks and grill at the condo a couple of times; but will also want to go out for seafood. (It%26#39;s vacation time, after all. Who wants to cook every night on vacation, right?!) One option is breaking up into smaller groups at restaurants, but it would be nice to sit together. Just thought I%26#39;d ask ... any advice for restaurants that are ';large group friendly';? Thanks!

We had 9 in our party this weekend and had no problem with seating at DeSoto%26#39;s or Sea n Suds. Tacky Jacks wasn%26#39;t much of a problem but not worth the time for food that wasn%26#39;t that good and was served cold. On the night we went to DeSoto%26#39;s they were serving parties much larger than ours.

you should not have a problem at all- all of the restaurants seat large groups all summer

We just tried Flippers the other night - it used to be the Bear Point Marina, Back Porch, Gigglin Grouper, Jolly Roger, etc. It%26#39;s now called Flippers and under new management. I%26#39;ll admit to being hesitant because as the Jolly Roger and Gigglin Grouper it was pretty bad service and the food was just plain old not good. Well new name and new management we decided to give it a try. The food was really good and the service was good. There were places to eat out on the deck overlooking the water and inside I saw them put together several tables to accomodate a large group. I was glad to find out that it%26#39;s once again a nice place because it%26#39;s not far from our house. The seafood nachos were great. There were four of us and we each got a different entree and there were no complaints from any of us. It%26#39;s a little out of the way - all the way down Canal Road, but the views from the deck were awesome, there was a band and when we were there we saw them slide several tables together for a big group.

Thanks for the ideas!

try the new ';hangout'; it is huge and open air- we went but didn%26#39;t stay-it was a little too crowded for my mom but it looked fun- right on beach by Pink pony pub

I am all for people recommending places they like, but OYELLER%26#39;s address is the same as Wolf Bay Lodge. Advertising is not allowed on TA.
