fishing pier??

I know the pier at the Gulf State Park is under construction. Is there any other pier in the area that you can fish from? My stepson is looking forward to fishing but I really don%26#39;t want to rent a boat. Help!!

fishing pier??

The only other fishing pier between Fort Morgan and Florida is at Four Seasons condos, and it%26#39;s a private pier for owners and guests only. A lot of people surf fish and seem to catch fish. Also, you might consider one of the charters that go out for a half day or full day.

fishing pier??

dd992emo. I am venturing into something i know little about. Can you fish at the bulkhead on the lagoon side of the pass at West beach Blvd or is that all private property?

Another place people fish is the Little Lagoon pass. You can stand on the jetty and fish from there.

Fels our posts just crossed each other. I think you%26#39;re asking about the Little Lagoon Pass and people are always fishing there, it%26#39;s public beach on one side and public park on the Lagoon side.

Yep! Little Lagoon Pass is a popular fishing area and Irie is correct, as usual.

Thought you might need this info:

Hi, this may be further than you want to travel, but if you are willing to make a whole day of fishing and relaxing, check out the pier in Fairhope. It is about a 45 minute drive from Orange Beach and the pier (at least is was last year) is clean and the area is beautiful. If you have some shoppers in your group who don%26#39;t want to fish, than downtown Fairhope will make them happy too! There are a lot of shops and places to eat. Have a great trip!

Thanks for the mention Rosettaone. Our main pier and beach are wonderful and if you look carefully we actually have three of them but we try to keep the Pier Street and Orange Street piers a secret!!

This is Fairhope';s website http://www.cofairhope.com/

and actually the pier pictured beside the word colorful is the Orange street pier--(some secret). Check the webcam for the main pier--right now it is raining and the pic is wonderful. Have lunch up the street at Sandras or Maryannes or Andres or Julwin%26#39;s. Have a coffee at La te da or Mr Genes Beans. You can have a great day in Fairhope

Dave

Good info on Fairhope! It is surely worth a side trip if you%26#39;re vacationing in this area. I had no idea they had those piers, what a great day trip, fishing, shopping and eating! I%26#39;m in :-)
