Hello,
My husband and I are going to do a one week road trip through Alabama as part of our vacation to the United States (we are from Australia). Can anyone recommend good towns and places to visit? Our route is very flexible at present.
We are not as interested in the big cities but rather would like to experience the countryside and southern charm of smaller places. I also love cooking and am very interested in trying some of the famous southern cooking.
We are also interested to know if there any scenic lakes or forests in AL that people would recommend visiting? Finally, does anyone know of a good farm stay option in AL?
Thanks very much
Annie J.
