Pet friendly house in the Gulf Shores area

Does anyone have a favorite or a good recommendation for a nice pet friendly (2 small dogs) house that allows parking for a boat? We have never been to the area before and want to find a great spot with easy boat access - but we have to bring our dogs.

Thanks!

The lodging locator at this website allows you to search for properties that allows pets. Most houses should have room to park a boat.

Pet friendly house in the Gulf Shores area

There are plenty of vacation homes in this area that will welcome your four-legged family. More and more vacation property owners are aware that some of us just won%26#39;t leave home without them. Dogs are allowed on the beaches of Fort Morgan but in Gulf Shores there is a stiff fine for walking your dogs on the beach. However, if you rent a Gulf Front house in Gulf Shores you may allow your dogs to be in that home%26#39;s yard. Just something you may want to keep in mind.

Thank you for the info - especially about walking the dogs on the beach. We live in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and we can walk the dogs on the beach after 5:00 p.m. daily - so thanks for the tip.

How about favorite restaurants in the area?

How nice that ya%26#39;ll can walk your dogs after five. Where I lived before moving here we could walk our dogs off leash after five in the parks and we had big ';dogapalooza%26#39;s'; every night with frisbees, etc... great fun for all.

As to restaurants in this area, there are SO many choices. When I want old fashioned fried seafood I go to Desotos or Original Oyster House, both in Gulf Shores. When I want something a bit more refined, I like Ginny Lane at the Wharf, Cosmos on Canal in Orange Beach and Live Bait at The Wharf. For Italian, I enjoy Grazie%26#39;s in San Roc Cay in Orange Beach. Like I said, lot%26#39;s of choices.

I%26#39;ve heard of DeSoto%26#39;s and the Oyster Bar - we%26#39;ll have to try them out - thanks for the help!
