What is the toll for the FBE?? We always go down 59, is it worth it to take the FBE, instead??

Three dollars. You can take the Express, turn off before the toll booth, will put you at the foot of the intercoastal bridge and skip a lot of 59 traffic.

We will be traveling to Gulf Shores for the first time in just under three weeks. Is it any faster to take the FBE, or should we just stay on 59?

If you are coming in on a Saturday, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 59 can get backed up. BUT depending where you are going, Gulf Shores, Orange Beach.....only maybe 15 to 20 minutes faster. It%26#39;s definitely closer to Orange Beach than Gulf Shores.

If you%26#39;ll be staying at a condo east of Orange Beach Blvd (Hwy 161), it%26#39;s worth the $3 toll, especially as nane3 says, if you%26#39;re arriving on a Saturday afternoon. Cuts out a lot of traffic if you in OB or on Perdido Key.

Just don%26#39;t pull into the local%26#39;s ';Prepaid Cards Only'; lane and slow me down! :)
