Good Condo?

Hello,

Was wondering if any locals or area experts can give me suggestions for condo%26#39;s. We don%26#39;t want to spend a ton of money...and we aren%26#39;t crazy about the HIGH rise type of buildings. We are planning a summer visit. Looked at the ';Sunchase'; online...anyone familiar with that property? Thanks in advance for any help!

Good Condo?

I like Sunchase. It%26#39;s an older property, but pretty well cared for. Units are small, but they are right on the beach. Pool is very small, only good for washing the sand off your feet. Good West Beach location. Assigned parking spaces with the unit.

Good Condo?

Thanks dd992,

I also wondered about Sunrise Village, saw another posting on this forum...seemed positive. Any info on that one?

Not a huge difference between the twol SV pool is a little larger than SC, but that%26#39;s about it. I prefer SC, but that%26#39;s just me.

Sunchase is as other poster stated. Although, it is on the Gulf side, most units do not have a view or private balconies. No elevator either. If on the third level can be a haul with little ones, beach chairs and toys. Looking at their prices listed with a local real estate company, I think you can find a much nicer place to stay spending the same amount.

Sundial is a lot like Sunchase only bigger units and pool. I%26#39;ve been in many units there and some are quite nice. They are either Gulf front or have side views and private balconies unlike Sunchase. They also have parking for two cars as opposed to the one car limit they have a SC.

If you%26#39;re willing to go across the street you can almost cut your budget by about 30 to 40%

We stayed at Emerald Key (Orange Beach) this past summer and loved it. It was a low density complex- six floors with 3 units on each floor. Ocean front units and a decent sized pool (not crowded). We rented a condo through VRBO. Here%26#39;s the link:

The owner was good to work with and the condo was roomy. Master bedroom was beachfront, too, with large sliding balcony doors.
