We%26#39;re planning our first trip to the area in February and was wondering what we can expect the weather to be like. Any possibility it would be warm enough to take our motorcycle for a ride? Also, does the ferry to Dauphin Island run in February? Thanks! Any info on the area would be helpful.

The weather in February is much like the weather now- it can be 40s-50s one day (like Tuesday) or in the 70s (like today) You just never know. Fun thing about February is it%26#39;s Mardi Gras time down here!

Back to the question about the weather -- I tell friends who visit in the ';winter'; that if they don%26#39;t like the weather, they can just wait 15 minutes and it%26#39;ll be totally different! The weather should be suitable for a ride unless a cold front brings sleet in. We hope to see y%26#39;all in February!
