trip report-first part

We spent Sunday on the beach and ate dinner at Franco%26#39;s Italian in OB. It was very good, the portions were huge, and our waitress was very good. Monday we spent most of the day on the beach, and ordered in pizza from Old World Bakery. That was delicious!! We had never had true Chicago deep dish pizza before, and it was great! We still have leftovers in the frig, one slice did me in. We layed awake most of the night Monday night listening to the storm and watching it from our bedroom balcony. We decided to go into Foley Tuesday morning and do a little shopping. We stopped by King Neptune%26#39;s on the way back to the condo and picked up some lunch to go orders. For the price, it was pretty good, but not great. Kinda dissapointed. Last night, we went down to Gulf Shores Seafood and picked up a pound of Royal Reds and fixins. That was our first time having those, and they were delicious! This morning, we are going back out to the beach for a while once this last batch of showers passes, and then go to the zoo. We love that little zoo and havent been in five years. I will post more about the next few days later.

Glad to hear you%26#39;re having a good time! I%26#39;m not a King Neptune%26#39;s fan, either, but it is very popular. Weather is a little weird, isn%26#39;t it? Just hang around a few minutes and it will change...

In all the times that I%26#39;ve ordered food from Old World Bakery, I%26#39;ve never tried the deep dish. It sounds great! I%26#39;ll give it a try.

Lots of activity this morning at the ';T'; prepping for the Shrimp Fest. Crazy with all the rain...glad to hear you%26#39;re having a good time in spite of the weather. Looks to be clearing though.

Thanks for the great update!
