Gulf Shores

I have a group, 4 couples and a child, we are thinking about making a long weekend trip early summer 09. We are in our early 30s, any recommendations where to stay. We are just looking to relax and hang out at the condo/house and cook/drink there.

Gulf Shores

Hi,

I take it you%26#39;re looking at a four bedroom place? There are condo%26#39;s with four bedrooms, but your best bet would be a home. There are even homes that have swimming pools, if you would like one for the child - or the adults!

West Beach in Gulf Shores has a lot of nice homes that would fit your needs. Gulf Shores and Orange Beach have condo%26#39;s and there are those that have four bedrooms.

I would first try vrbo.com. The main rental companies with houses on West Beach are Meyer Rentals (www.meyerre.com) and Kaiser Realty (www.kaiserrealty.com).

Gulf Shores

Good advice on the houses. If the child is small and doesn%26#39;t require a lot of entertaining, you might also consider a house out in Fort Morgan. Usually a little less expensive than West Beach and they have a lot of nice houses out there. Check the lodging tab on this site:

Keep in mind that most Gulf Front houses have a 7 day minimum from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Ditto, DD on Fort Morgan. Fewer houses out there have the minimum stay requirement, it%26#39;s less expensive and it%26#39;s totally laid back, which is what it sounds like you%26#39;re looking for. As to condo%26#39;s in Gulf Shores, there aren%26#39;t that many that offer 4 bedrooms. Lighthouse comes to mind and they usually don%26#39;t have a minimum stay requirement other then the standard 3 night min. Great complex with 2 outdoor pools and one pool is zero entry, very nice for the little one. Good luck!
