Regency Isle at Orange Beach - PERFECT!

We stayed at Regency Isle, unit 1007, July 12-19, 2008. This was our first visit to Orange Beach. My family loved the unit, the pool, the BBQ area, and the beach.

The unit was nicely layed out with large rooms. The kitchen had all the untensils/cookware needed to prepare meals. The ice maker at the wet bar was great! Bedrooms/bathrooms were nice and roomy. This unit had so many nice little extras like hand soap, dish soap, extra TP, and more. And this unit has carpet throughout - not tile.

The pool was a nice size with plenty of loungers and table with chairs where you could place your personal umbrella for shade.

The beach was crowded (more than we are used to) but the crowd consisted of families and enjoyed seeing children playing and enjoying family time.

The BBQ area was fantastic. This was our first condo rental where gas grills were available. I was amazed at how many families actually grilled and had their evening meal at the condo rather than going out.

Covered parking was great and elevator access was just steps away! I highly recommend Regency Isle and this unit. (found at www.vrbo.com) We plan to return again for another relaxing vacation!

Thanks for the TR. Regency Isle is a wonderful complex. It is nice to have a grill area so you don%26#39;t have to eat out for every meal. More and more people are doing that as your report confirms. The view is better from your condo than at any restaurant. Good info, thanks for posting!

Regency Isle at Orange Beach - PERFECT!

Regency Isle is indeed a wonderful complex! Glad you had a wonderful time. We rented a unit there in August 2008 through vrbo.com. See my forum comment on August 5. Let%26#39;s hope that Orange Beach is spared from hurricanes for the rest of this hurricane season.

I%26#39;m glad to hear your review of Regency Isle. We have been curious about it. It seemed like it compares to the Lighthouse in Gulf Shores. Does the master had a full wall of windows view? That is a biggy for us. We usually don%26#39;t want a 2 bedroom, which is the smallest they offer, but in March we will have our neices w/ us while hubby attends a conference at the Perdido Beach Resort so maybe this would work for us.
