I need help to find the best place for ';tent camping'; a couple nights. I would like to camp in the northeast or gulf section of Alabama. I have a couple young boys that love to fish ( Pier/surf or lake fishing - have no boat ), that will be our main activity, along with some swimming. Please advise.

My first choice would be Guntersville State Park. You can camp right on the edge of the lake.
