A guy I work with told me that a few years ago he was in Gulf Shores and there is a place that the locals are aware of where some alligators hang out. He said you can drive to this spot and about 30 feet away there are a few gators gathered there near a lake or something. Does anyone have any idea what he%26#39;s talking about?!

Before Hurricane Ivan there was such a spot in the State Park, but I%26#39;m not sure the alligators came back after the storm. There is a commercial alligator place just north of Summerdale off of Hwy 59. You%26#39;ll see a billboard or two coming down 59 from I-10.

Basically it%26#39;s off of Hwy 180 (Fort Morgan Rd) close to the Beach Club.
My co-worker says if you go down that street, look to your right for barbed wire and a sign saying not to feed the Alligators. She says there are alligators there depending on the time of the day.
