Thank you!!

Gulf Shores Plantation?

Do a google search for images of gulf shores plantation..I just found several pictures of inside the units....

This should help...

Gulf Shores Plantation?

No pictures, but stayed there years ago. Would not stay again. Too far out, fire alarm kept going off in the middle of the night, we would have to leave the building, but maybe it%26#39;s better now???

Thanks for your help on the pictures!

Sorry I don%26#39;t have any pictures on this computer, but will try to add some later when I%26#39;m on my home computer.

My husband and I went there back around August of 2007, and loved it. At first, we didn%26#39;t like it because it was so far out, but heck all we do is stay on the beach anyway, and the beach was wonderful. There is a little ';dive bar'; called Parrotdize Grill that is around a mile or so from there and we went two nights in a row there! The food was awesome and the bartender (Chris) made the best margaritas ever! By me calling it a dive bar, don%26#39;t let that make you not want to go. It was really a family place. Really. There was live music there every night also.

I will post some pics later for you.

Hey Travel Freak!

I am from M%26#39;boro,too! Where do you live?

We live out past the Walter Hill off of Jefferson Pike. Small world!

Hey bradleybunch! Yes, it is a small world. I%26#39;m over near the Battlefield - close to The Avenue. :)

And about the pictures.....yes, I have some of our room on my computer, but not sure how to post them. We also got some awesome sunrise pics from the bay across the street from the Gulf Shores Plantation sign. If you are into photography at all, you should really try to get up and get out there at sunset. It%26#39;s worth getting up for.

Don%26#39;t have pictures here at the office, but plenty at home. We have been staying at the Plantation for about 15 years or so now - absolutely love it and don%26#39;t care to stay anywhere else. Some of the condos are older than others, but nice. Advise renting through VRBO and not directly from The Plantation - lots cheaper that way. The first time it did feel like you were way out (13 miles) but doesn%26#39;t feel so bad now. Several restaurants out on Fort Morgan Road so you don%26#39;t have to always drive in to eat. Love the huge private beach access plus the 6 outdoor pools - never have to search too far for a place by a pool.

Enjoy your trip. Husband and I went down for a long weekend a couple of weeks ago and had a great time. Going back end of May for ';girls only'; vacation! Can%26#39;t wait.
