Coming to Mobile for Basketball Tourney

Hi......

Will be coming to Mobile on Sunday March 9 to attend the Sunbelt Conference Basketball Tourney. Was wondering about hotels ';near'; University of South Florida. And also.......best seafood restaurants near there too.

Coming to Mobile for Basketball Tourney

I would recommend either the Homewood Suites or Hampton Inn in the Providence Park area off Airport Blvd. The hotels are located a stones throw from each other and either one would be fine. It%26#39;s a short drive to the Mitchell Center from there, which is where the tournament will be I assume. The Mitchell Center is a nice venue.

There is also a Bonefish Grill right there by hte hotels which has good seafood, but for something with more local flavor you would probably want to try either Oysterellas or Felix%26#39;s on the Mobile Bay Causeway, or for more casual fare The Original Oyster House or Ed%26#39;s Seafood shack, also on the causeway. To get onto the causeway be in the right lane as you come out of the I-10 tunnel in downtown Mobile heading eastbound and exit immediately.

And one more thing...it%26#39;s the University of South ALABAMA, not South Florida.

There is a Wintzell%26#39;s also somewhat across the street from Bonefish Grill. But for the REAL Wintzell%26#39;s, I agree, go downtown!
