Just wanted to know the differences between these two areas. It seems there is more to do in the Gulf Shores area. But, on aerial photos, the beach looks much wider in Pensacola. Any other pros or cons?
Gulf Shores/Orange Beach vs Pensacola
I%26#39;m biased, but I think it%26#39;s easier to get around GS/OB, especially if you%26#39;re talking about Pensacola Beach instead of Pensacola. Hwy 98 can get pretty congested during the summer over at PB.

Gulf shores has alot to offer,
Super clean beaches, family fun,
Good food, ( slow service sometimes)
Friendly people, really good rental prices....
And you still can see the blue angels flying over on training runs...........
Yes, I am talking about Pensacola Beach ;)
GS/OB to me is much nicer than Pensacola Beach. More laid back, easier to get around, more family activities, etc.
