VRBO & Baby Equipment Rentals--delivery/pick up

We are renting a beach house directly through an owner this year and also need to rent a baby crib. We rented a crib last year but used a rental agency for the beach house. So, the baby equipment people worked with the agency to get the crib in the house before we got there. This year, the owner of the home we%26#39;re renting mails keys to renters a few weeks before check-in date.

I%26#39;ve e-mailed the owner to see if he%26#39;s had this situation come up before but thought I might also see if anyone on here has dealt with renting directly from an owner and also getting things (like a crib) delivered to the house. I%26#39;ve talked with the baby equipment people as well, and if they can%26#39;t get into the house in the morning, they won%26#39;t be able to drop a crib off for us until the next day (so one night without a crib for our toddler!). If you have any experiences with this, I%26#39;d appreciate hearing about them. Thanks!!

Find out from the owners what time the cleaning people get there,

They might deliver it when they are there.

And arrange payment to the rental people ahead...

I don%26#39;t think if they won%26#39;t do it that way, you

will have to just get by one night...

This is a new one for me....

good luck

Well, wouldn%26#39;t you know--after I posted this, I found a solution to my problem. I should have waited a bit before posting! I realized that there were 2 baby equipment rental places with very similar names. When I called the 2nd one, the lady said she would come to come us once we got in the house. She even suggested that we call her when we%26#39;re on Ft. Morgan Road and she%26#39;ll head our way if she can (or come later that evening). She was so nice, and so now I know I%26#39;ll be using her company. Thanks for your help!

I am happy you found a answer to the problem....

You guys will have a blast in fort morgan......

Nice to know there are folks that still are willing to help...

Can you please post the name of the company and any contact info so we can help people in a similar predicament in the future? Thanks!

The company that I found that I referred to in my last post is called Beach and Baby Rentals: http://www.beachandbaby.com/.

There are actually several of these types of places in the Gulf Shores areas, but I don%26#39;t have all the names, numbers, or websites. You can go to another website to get information on these types of places all over the USA: babiestravellite.com/baby_equipment_rental.h… Just look for the state where you%26#39;ll be going to and see if they have any of these places. This website is how I found the information about Beach and Baby Rentals.

Thanks!

Your 2nd link does not work....

Sorry about the 2nd link. Try this:

babiestravellite.com/baby_equipment_rental.h…

If that doesn%26#39;t work, go to www.babiestravellite.com; look up in the right top corner and click on ';travel.'; This should lead you to another page that has the baby equipment rental blocks. Hope this works better this time!

Ok, I realized that the tripadvisor box is cutting off the last part of the web address.

Let me try again and type it all out:

babiestravellite.com/baby_equipment_rental.h…

Hopefully, that will work (be sure to get the ';.html'; on the end of this.

That worked! Thanks
