I am looking for a job in the Orange Beach/Gulf Shores area as a restaurant server, starting in May. Which restaurants are best to apply to? Maybe one that pays per hour, plus tips, a meal, employs part time, opens late and always full. Please give me some suggestions. Thanks.
Best restaurants to work in Orange Beach/Gulf Shores?
There is a culinary arts school at Faulkner State Community College in Gulf Shores. Your best bet is probably to contact them and ask these questions. They can put you in touch will local restauranteurs or even some of their students. Google them for a phone number.

Lamberts
';Lambert%26#39;s';? Oh yeah, especially if you have some cholesterol deficiency you%26#39;re trying to correct... :)
Thanks for the suggestion Gulfbrat. Which ones do you recommend dd992emo? Say why.
I stick to my original recommendation to check with Faulkner, but I would look at Cosmo%26#39;s, Ginny Lane, Mango%26#39;s, Louisiana Lagniappe, Villagio and maybe Jesse%26#39;s in Magnolia Springs. All are upscale stores (for this area) and I would think tips are much better. Lambert%26#39;s is mass market fried food. It has its place, but I wouldn%26#39;t work there.
Yes, most of the other restaurants are more upscale than Lambert%26#39;s, but it is always packed. Parents and families are so pleased with the service and attention to the little ones, teens and entire family, I%26#39;%26#39;m sure the tips are good. Other tourist restaurants probably have major cutbacks during off season times, but Lamberts is always, always busy. If you are looking for a year round position this would be the place to be.
Thanks again to dd992emo, and to clookin. I%26#39;ll be sure to check those out. Others are welcomed to answer.
