Coming around March 15 for one night with my sisters. Looking for something fun/casual. Read about Twist and Shout piano bar. Is this in safe walking distance from the highland hotel? Anything else in this area that is better to stay at? Also entertained the idea of comedy club, but seems too far from a hotel. Stardome?
Second option is to pick a larger chain hotel that has a restaurant on site.

Yes, Twist %26amp; Shout is only 2 blocks from the Highland Hotel. I work in the area, and I have never had any problems. However, I don%26#39;t walk around alone at night. The area is really fun! Some of the very best restaurants in all of Birmingham are all within walking distance. Also near Twist%26amp;Shout are Dave%26#39;s Pub and BellBottoms (70%26#39;s and 80%26#39;s dance club). Have fun with your sisters!
