We recently moved from the west coast to Indiana. We are looking for a family oriented quiet beach on the gulf coast and heard that Orange Beach and some of the surrounding beaches were great. We are looking for a nice smaller scale hotel or condo that is very well maintained and clean with a nice heated pool. We would definitely like to stay right on the gulf. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Tidewater and Tradewinds are both medium sized properties with either heated or indoor pools. Four Winds is nice, but I doubt if their pool is heated. Do you really need a heated pool? When is your trip?
Nice Smaller Scale Hotel or Condo?My favorites are the Phoenix Condos. They are all clean. I think the pools are heated. My favorite buildings are 6, 7, and 8. Their company%26#39;s website is www.thisisalabama.com . If you have time during your trip, eat at Lamberts in Foley. I have stayed at the Phoenix propreties many times and have always been satisfied. the buildings I reccomended also have a small view of Perdio Pass, a waterway which leads tro the bay. You also get an amazing view of the gulf.
