Has anyone stayed at the Boardwalk condos?

Can you give me recommendations?

I keep reading about the jellyfish problem?

We are coming first week of August? Are they

usually bad at that time?

The location is great, except sometimes the odors coming from sea and suds can float up to your deck,

It is great as long as you like seafood,LOL..

The views are great from there,

The condos are nice,

My main advice is to stay up high enough that the pool sounds don%26#39;t bother you,

We had a problem with noise where we stayed this year, 2 floors above the pool.

As far as the Jellys go,

They are not unusualy as bad,

We wnr JUne 7th and only saw two all week,

THe have been a bit worse in orange beach,

So it would be hard to say if they would still be bad in August,

They thrive in the gulf when the ocean temps are warmer,,

We%26#39;re in Star City but lived in Searcy years ago so we were familiar with Beebe then.

My husband is a Methodist minister so we%26#39;ve lived all over AR

Thanks for your advice on Boardwalk. Were the smells from Sea and Suds bothersome?

Is the beach really crowded there? We usually stay in Orange Beach.

I really live in Antioch, near beebe..But use it because of mailing address says beebe..

Hubby works in searcy,,,,,,,

we love the area, But we would rather live at the beach..

The smells from the restaurant wouldn%26#39;t be bad if you were higher than say the 5th or 6th floor.......

And the higher up you get, the less likely that you would have to put up with loud, people...

Gulf shores is great, I think you will be happy at boardwalk,

I just wanted to let you know about the restaurant being right there.,

We have lived in several towns in ark as well, redfield, small town of east end in saline county,

Little rock when I was a kid, (still work there)

And cabot for three years..

MAke sure to try shrimp basket while you are there,,,,

The food was great ,,,,,,,

oopps, I forgot about the crowds,,

I wouldn%26#39;t say they are ever really crowded.

We were on the beach alot where there wasn%26#39;t many people at all, The key is to eat out between 1:00 and 5:00..

Everyone goes in at 5:00 to go out to eat, so the beach is quiet then...

Then they all come back after about 8;00 or so , to walk and crab hunt.......

I remember where Antioch is.

I%26#39;m also familiar with Redfield and East End.

I work as a literacy specialist and I go to schools.

Both of those are in my district.

It%26#39;s a small world!

And like you, just wishing I lived at the beach!

The beaches can be a little congested there, but congested in this area is different than say most FL beaches. You have plenty of space between beach umbrellas! The location is great. It is within walking distance to shopping and dining so it%26#39;s perfect if you want to go out and about without the car. Jellyfish unfortunately do not consult us about their schedules :-)

Boardwalk is a great location for walking to restaurants and shopping. The units I%26#39;ve been in were all in good shape and well maintained.
