first week of June

Can anyone tell me how warm it is on the island the first week of June. We have always went in August and this year we are going earlier because we are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. It%26#39;s usually still pretty hot during August so I was just wondering what it would be like during the first week of June and also if anyone could tell me how crowded it will be then also. In August it is usually pretty quiet with very limited homes rented because of school starting back and everything. Thanks so much!

Temperatures will probably be in the 80%26#39;s during the day and 70%26#39;s at night. Don%26#39;t believe Dauphin Island is every ';crowded'; with tourists, but probably not as deserted as August.

June, September, %26amp; October are my favorite times to go down there. The sea is warm, but the air is a little cooler. We go twice a year. Also, the rates are generally cheaper at these times. The Sunset Cruise is a must. Have fun!

I think that April and October are the best weather months down there. It starts getting pretty warm by mid-May, and stays that way through early September.

One thing to consider- Peak Season rates generally start near Memorial Day and run through Labor Day, with a few weeks in late August at a discount, if they are still available.

In other words, just a week or two of difference may save you hundreds of dollars, if yor plans are flexible.
