It has been about 8 years since I have been to DI. I went with my family while in high school. I am sure the cabin we stayed in was destroyed during Katrina so I am on the hunt for a new cabin to rent. I will be coming down for my honeymoon and my fiancee has never seen a real beach or the ocean before. I am looking for something right on the gulf. I would perfer a smaller cabin, but will go up to a 3 bedroom. TIA!

go to dauphinislandrentals.com and look at their selection. They have homes right on the beach where you can hear the waves. You can also go to boardwalk-realty.com and check on theirs. Both are very nice to deal with and have very very nice homes. I know boardwalk-realty.com has the very last house on the beach. go to both web sites and you can see what kind of homes are there. We are going back for our 3rd year this year and I can%26#39;t wait! Enjoy!!!

You can also try Acpinfo.com. That realty has some Beautiful homes also. They have one that is listed as the house of windows. I can remember seeing that home and it is gorgeous! May be too big but look at their other ones. They are all beautiful.
