Next best condo to the Lighthouse

Hi Everyone,

Ok so I came down to Gulf Shores last July and stayed at the Lighthouse. Beautiful condo, zero entry pool, jacuzzi, the whole bit but it ended up being kind of expensive. I%26#39;m looking to come back down in July this year and the Lighthouse is even higher this year, so I%26#39;m looking for the next best condo. Looking to hopefully stay on E. Beach Blvd in a gulf front. Trying to find a condo that%26#39;s somewhat modern and doesn%26#39;t smell ancient if you get my driff. Any suggestions would be helpful as I%26#39;m trying to look on vrbo and it%26#39;s just so many to choose from that I can%26#39;t decide. I%26#39;m also open to W. Beach Blvd. and Perdido Fl. if you think there%26#39;s a unit worth it. I%26#39;m trying to stay in the lower $1000%26#39;s or less. Help!!!

Next best condo to the Lighthouse

We have rented a condo at Ocean House II (2bed, 2bth) for October. We got the whole week fot $799 plus tax, no other fees. Check it out on VRBO.com, it says ';Ocean Delight';. The owner has been very nice and easy to work with so far. You can also see pictures on Oceanhousecondo.com. We were torn between LH and OH. OC is about a mile down from LH. It, too has a zero entry huge pool with jacuzzies and a kiddie pool. The only big difference between the two is the kitchen is much smaller at OH. But if you are not cooking during your vacation, which I certainly am not, then it won%26#39;t matter to you. OH is much smaller, too, so you won%26#39;t have as many people to share with. I have been researching for months because we havent been to GS since 2002, pre-Ivan.

Next best condo to the Lighthouse

There are tons of condos similar to LH. It%26#39;s one of the newer properties, but some of the older places are just as nice. Check out Crystal Shores, Phoenix, Bluewater, Shoalwater, Tidewater, Pelican Point, Windward Pointe, Romar Tower...the list is endless. Try going to some of the rental company websites like Meyer, Kaiser, Brett Robinson, etc. Identify a potential property through the pictures and descriptions, then go to vrbo and compare prices.
