Need Condo Recommendations, etc.

We are heading to Gulf Shores in August for 4 nights with our 18 month old daughter. I am looking for a place to stay that is on the beach, has a pool and kids pool and is walking distance to at least a couple restaurants. I think I have narrowed it down to Ocean House I and II or Surf Side Shores. These both have kiddie pools and direct ocean access, but I am not sure that they are walking distance to anything. Also, have I missed any other complexes that match what I am looking for?

We are staying at surfside shores, It is about a mile down from the action,

There may be a restaurant down there, But I can%26#39;t place one,

Bahma bob%26#39;s is just under a mile away...

And ocean house is next door....

Both seem to be in a good location, and are nice propertys..

You might want to check out Tropic Isle%26#39;s Condominiums. They are 0.4 from the intersection of Hwy 59 and W. Beach Blvd. They have a childrens pool as well. The other two complexes that you mentioned, Ocean House and Surfside Shores are 0.8 miles from this intersection. There is a brand new restaurant at the intersection of 59 and W. Beach (center of beach area) called the Hangout that is a great choice for families with small children. It has a huge outdoor sand play area with all the toys necessary. Food isn%26#39;t bad either. I like the artichoke/crab/cheese dip. Bahama Bob%26#39;s is a great restaurant that is 0.5 miles from aforementioned intersection and it%26#39;s right on the beach. Pecan encrusted grouper there is the bomb. Right across the street from there is a good Mexican place. Ocean House and Surfside Shores are both great though, just another option...
