My husband and I like to fly in to Dauphin Island in our plane but getting around is a bit of a problem. Are there any car rental agencies that service Dauphin Island?

There is NO car rental on the Island. Would have to find a way to get closer to Mobile to rent said car, then have the problem of getting car back to rental place, sorry. Now that I think about it, I have seen the commercial for enterprise that says,';will pick you up';, might give them a try.

No there is not a rental company or cab company. The Island Strategic Plan calls for a shuttle bus that will service the ferry landing and airport along with the usual beach and commercial areas. Unfortunately, there is no concrete timeline for this.
Mobile or Theodore are the closest areas that may have a car rental.
