Romar Place or Tidewater nicer?

We will be in Orange Beach in August and narrowed it down to 2 great condos...Romar Place and Tidewater. They are both end units and very nice inside. I didn%26#39;t know if one was a better location/better beach/ nicer condo in general. Thanks!

I%26#39;ve never been in either, but just knowing the locations, I would think Romar Place is closer to the beach. Tidewater seems to sit back a distance. If you have children with you and hauling things to the beach Romar Place may be more convenient.

Clookin is correct that RP is closer to the beach. I think it%26#39;s maybe a little nicer than TW, although I love TW%26#39;s pool and indoor pool areas. RP is right across the street from a Ruby Tuesday, but that%26#39;s probably the only restaurant within walking distance. TW is very close to San Roc Cay, which has some shopping and dining.

Thank you very much for your responses. I think we are going to go with Tidewater because it has a little nicer of a view and seems closer to things walking distance. I hope its not too far from the beach, we do have little ones. We could use the exercise though, especially with all the eating we will probably be doing! Thanks again!

We have been to Tidewater twice and got married on the beach behind it! It is great.

We just got back from OB and stayed at Romar Place. We were in #506(3bed, 3bath corner unit). It was filthy. I don%26#39;t think the floor had been mopped in weeks and the sheets were so thin I could see through them. We rented through Sugar Sands and when we complained, they didn%26#39;t seem to care. That said, the beach there is beautiful. The pool is good also.

There were 3 couples in our group. We had a great time. The guys golfed 3 days--about $100 per day. We went on a dolphin cruise--a joke,saw 3 pet dolphins! Ate and drank a lot. We spent one night at Florabama--what an experience. Spent 3 afternoons on the beach. The temp was great at 85 degrees. I%26#39;m sure August will be much hotter.

Overall we had a great time.
