A couple of questions…Golf and night life.

Hello,

Thinking about holding a stag weekend in Birmingham. Interested in golf and, of course, a few extracurricular activities that one associates with a stag weekend (bars and a bit of drinking). Looking into the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail and it looks like there are some very nice golf courses to choose from.

Can anyone offer up any advice for golf packages and night life in Birmingham?

Thanks very much鈥?/p>

The Oxmoor Valley courses might be a better choice. You can play all three (Ridge, Valley and short course) for less than one round at Ross Bridge. The courses are in great shape and very challenging.

Can%26#39;t really speak specifically for nightlife, but Five Points South and places on Highway 280 would probably be good options.

Thanks for the advice...

We also found a course called Limestone Springs that looks tip top.

Limestone Springs is nice. I haven%26#39;t played there, but friends have. It is at least an hour drive from where you will likely be staying. Very little of the drive is interstate, so not easy to get to.

About an hour and a half south of Birmingham is the RTJ facility in Prattville. Very nice courses there. One has hosted the Nationwide Tour Championship the last few years.
