Looking for a small condo on the beach (a view would be a bonus but not a necessity) for my husband, myself and our 7 year old. I found these that the price sounds great:
Harbor Place (super cute on the inside) my concern is the pool looks really small (the outdoor portion) and I can%26#39;t find many reviews on it.
Seacrest
Sugar Beach
Am I missing any? I have looked at VBRO, Kaiser, High Tide, Bender and some others.
We really want to save our money for activities as opposed to lodging.
Thanks!
Angela
Harbor Place?
If you%26#39;re really interested in saving money you might consider a condo across the street from the beach instead of gulf front. Big difference in prices. Grand Beach, Gentle Winds, Alabama Sands all have decent views and are cheaper than gulf front. Of the properties you mention I like Sugar Beach the best. Seacrest and Harbor Place units always seem kind of dark to me, but YMMV.
Harbor Place?
If it where just me and my husband I would totally stay across the street, however with my son the closer the better as I%26#39;m sure we will be running back and forth to the condo and then there is all of his beach stuff to carry. Thanks for the advice on Sugar Beach.

If you%26#39;re looking for a large pool, several condos in Orange Beach may suit you such as Phoenix, Seaside Beach and Raquet, Tradewinds. They%26#39;re all on the beachside, nice properties with views.
Check out Crystal Shores prices. My husband and I love it, and it is right on the beach, absolutely beautiful view.
I stayed in a condo at Harbor Place in Orange Beach several years ago (maybe 5 or so) and really enjoyed it. It was just my husband and me and we thought the 2 bedroom was very nice and roomy. The pool is kind of small, from what I remember but it was never crowded either. The pool is indoor/outdoor, with a swim-through type set up. There is a hot tub near the inside part of the pool as well. The beach was nice here and not overly crowded. On one side of Harbor Place is a Hilton Hotel and on the other side are a few rental properties. We now have a toddler and may end up trying for a condo here again this summer (we%26#39;re also considering Ft. Morgan area too).
Try Romar Beach, which is just 2 buildings west of Harbor Place, so the view is the same. Only drawback is that Romar Beach does not have an indoor pool, but they are cheaper and in my opinion the condos are just as nice. Haven%26#39;t stayed there since Ivan, but we%26#39;re headed back in mid-March this year.
The Harbor Town pool, indoor and out, is nice, so don%26#39;t worry about the photos.
Enjoy your vacation. We%26#39;ve been going to Orange Beach for years, and love it more each time.
Rgds.,

Me and my family have stayed at Harbour Place for the last 2 years it is really nice. The pool is not all that big but we didn%26#39;t find that to be a problems an we stayed in July.

We have gone to Orange Beach for several years. We have stayed at both Sugar Beach and Harbor Place. We have enjoyed both. We have not stayed at Sugar Beach since Ivan. We stayed at Harbor place for the first time last year. We chose it because we had a 5 month old at the time and wanted an indoor pool. The pool is kind of small but the indoor and outdoor pool is connected by a swim-through and our 7 year loved that. The pools were never very congested. We liked the condos themselves better at Harbor Place.
