There are no reviews for Emerald Greens yet. Can anyone tell me anything about them? Is this a good place to stay? Location? Etc.

Emerald Greens

Emerald Greens is located 4 miles north of the beach on Highway 59. They have 1 and 2 bedroom condo%26#39;s and most of them are fully decorated and furnished with cookware, silverware and glassware as well as towels and linens. Guests there have full use of all the amenities, including golf on their 9-hole executive course (including cart), free continental breakfast in the clubhouse every morning, huge fitness center, tanning beds and a very large pool. They are very nice if you like those kinds of amenities and don%26#39;t really care about being close to the beach. Here is a link to their website:

Last year they had some really good Snowbird specials so I%26#39;d ask them about any specials they may have.....

I played golf with a Snowbird from Illinois yesterday and he and his wife are staying at Emerald Greens. He says there is a minimum 3 month contract for Snowbirds (he said individually rented units may not have this caveat) I didn%26#39;t hear if he had a 1 or 2 bedroom but he says rent is about $1000 a month and includes all utilities, use of the property%26#39;s facilities, and golf (they have an executive 9 hole course)

Sounds like a pretty good deal to me and both he and his wife were very pleased. They are staying for 5 months down here...
