Stayed in Orange Beach June 8-11th.
Checked into Perdido Beach Resort- arrived at 2pm, 4pm checkin but room was ready so no problems. Hotel booked with conference but given nice interior room overlooking pool and beach, clean and very nice. Hotel has complientary valet parking and bellhops very friendly and helpful.
Headed to pool, where they had live music- one guy singing beach music and nice pool side bar.
Ate dinner at Mango%26#39;s at Orange Beach Marina. Salad was fabulous; entree%26#39; was okay, but surprised that service was horrible. Had to ask several times for drink refills and there was hardly anyone else in the restaurant.
Next day, poolside, shopping at Outlets. Dinner at Guy Harvey Grill at the Wharf. Crab legs were okay but 2 of us got different steaks and they were both fabulous; sat outside and service was outstanding. Did a little shopping afterwards at the Wharf; what a fun place and can%26#39;t wait to visit again!
Following day, more poolside, beach. Walked across the street to dinner at Louisanna Lagnaippe. Luckily we had reservations as it was packed. Atmosphere great, service excellent and meal was pretty good.
Easy checkout the following day and headed home. All in all, a good trip; Perdido very nice hotel; staff very well trained and had a relaxing but enjoyable time.
Trip report- Orange BeachGlad to hear you had a great time! I%26#39;ve almost stopped recommending Mango%26#39;s because of the service issue, but I love their space and the food is usually good. Thanks for the report on Guy Harvey%26#39;s. Haven%26#39;t been there, yet. Lagniappe is always a consistent performer. Come back soon!
