Gulf Shores vs. Orange Beach

We are considering a condo in Orange Beach (Regency Isle)and one in Gulf Shores (Crystal Shores)and I wonder if there is any advantage/disadvantage to Orange Beach over Gulf Shores. I%26#39;m sure the ocean is great at either one! :)

Thanks!

Gulf Shores vs. Orange Beach

No advantage/disadvantage, same Gulf, same beach.

Gulf Shores vs. Orange Beach

I like Orange Beach better. There really is no difference between the water but in Orange Beach they do not allow the tents to be put up in the front. In Gulf Shores the tents are close to the water and the chairs are placed in the back. We usually stay in Orange Beach (White Caps) but stayed in Gulf Shores last yearm this year we were back in Orange Beach.

Orange Beach is far better. We go to Mariner Pass condo block - brilliant views of river from back and beach view from front. Always something to watch from your balcony. Meyers/VRBO sites for info.

There really isn;t any difference between the two...

Most people go to restaurants and shops at each place..

It is just one big long beach , It really is hard to tell where one starts and one stops, except that gulf shores has fewer high rise condos, and a way more houses.......

And as far as the tent thing goes, we stayed at a condo in gulf shores that does not allow you to put your tent in front of the chair rentals...

I did see several that all the tents were behind the chairs,,,

It should depend on what lodging has the best price and ammenities to fit your needs,

Agree with other posters that there is little difference between GS and OB. There is a difference between the two properties you mentioned. Regency Isle has larger floor plans and is probably a little less dense than Crystal Shores, but CS is a newer property. Restaurants and shopping are a 5 minute drive from either property.
