Hotel Help Needed Today

A friend of mine is heading into the area to meet her son for Mother%26#39;s Day weekend. She is will be coming down from the Atlanta area (Interstate 20). She is wanting a safe clean hotel on ourside of Birmingham. Any suggestions??? She doesn%26#39;t necessarily have to actually come into Birmingham it can be outside if there are any hotels. Thanks in advance!

where does she plan to be -that would really help-the Hampton Inn on 280 or Courtyard by Marriott and Embassy Suites are nice and safe near MT Brook/Homewood/Vestavia-

She really doesn%26#39;t have a set location. Birmingham is the halfway point for them to meet. They are really open to any area as long at it%26#39;s safe and clean and not too expensive. This is the first time they are doing this so they are really open to any and all suggestions.

ok- if it was me I%26#39;d rather be in B%26#39;ham than the outskirts- these locations are good and safe- restaurants and a nice mall nearby-

There is a brand new Courtyard in Trussville (off I-459, close ot I-20). It is right by the Pinnacle Mall with lots of restaurants.

The Embassy Suites in Homewood has a Ruth%26#39;s Chris Steak House which is epensive, but excellent, if you want to splurge on Mother%26#39;s Day.

If you really want to go all out, the Ross Bridge Renaisance Hotel and Spa is a good bet. I have never stayed here myself, but have heard good reviews!
